Irene Pivetti is an Italian politician who was born on April 27, 1963, in Milan, Italy. She is known for being the youngest ever president of the Italian Chamber of Deputies, from 1994 to 1996, at the age of 31. She was a member of the separatist party Lega Nord at the time, which was a controversial choice given her position and the party's stance on the central government. Pivetti also held various other political positions, including being a member of the European Parliament and serving as a councillor in the city of Milan. After leaving politics, she became a journalist and worked for various Italian media outlets.
